Two Thieves Podcast

The Two Thieves Podcast will focus on extolling God's mercies, examining scripture, and looking through the lens of a Christian Worldview. We will dialogue on current events, both inside and outside the Church, as well as reviewing other articles, videos, and publications. Like the whole of scripture, this podcast is first and foremost about God, not about man.

This week we had an opportunity to speak with Reverend Rusty Thomas, Director of Elijah Ministries and Operation Save America.  Rev. Thomas is a national leader in the fight to biblically end abortion in the U.S.  Rusty shared with us his testimony of how he began in this ministry, his thoughts on the state of the church in the fight against abortion, and his insights on the future of abortion in America.  We hope this interview edifies you and encourages you all to use your giftings in the fight to end this abomination and, most importantly, further the cause of the gospel.

Please give us a 5 star rating during the month of January to be entered to win a “Reformation prize”!  Visit us on Facebook, Twitter, and at twothievespodcast.com.  We welcome your feedback at twothievespodcast@gmail.com.

Pastor John Samson (Kings Church, Arizona and effectualgrace.com) was gracious enough to join us this week to talk Reformation and Word of Faith theology.  This is an episode you absolutely do not want to miss as Pastor Samson discusses the early church figures and driving forces behind the Reformation.  He also talks to us about his experiences in the Word of Faith movement and why its teachings are so dire and dangerous.

Please check out Pastor Samson’s work at effectualgrace.com, the Dividing Line, and Apologia All-Access.  We thank him for taking the time to come on with us this week.

Happy 2017!  This week we had the opportunity to discuss the Doctrines of Grace with someone in sharp disagreement.  This gave us the chance to reexamine a few of the most common misrepresentations of Calvinism.  Though you may have come across these arguments many times before, we thought this was a great time to discuss how Reformed Theology is exegetically backed by scripture and often distorted by those with a more man-centered theology.  We hope this episode is helpful in the discussions our listeners have with others and ultimately glorifies God in the correct interpretation of his Word.

Just a reminder….. rate us on iTunes to be entered to win a “Reformational” prize at the end of January.  Visit www.twothievespodcast.com for more information about our show and feel free to send all feedback to twothievespodcast@gmail.com.

We wrap up our first year (kind of…) reviewing some of the hottest theological issues of 2016.  Narrowing it down to the top 5, we discuss pastoral attrition, the trinity debate, church authority, bathroom wars, and the Donald.  We can’t thank each and every one of you enough for your support as we strive to fulfill our part of the Great Commission through this Podcast and our ministry.  Please continue to share our episodes as we dive head first into 2017!

Please rate us on iTunes during the month of January to be entered to win a prize!  Please also like our Facebook page and check out our website at www.twothievespodcast.com.  We welcome any and all feedback to twothievespodcast@gmail.com.  Soli Deo Gloria!
